We just received the super limited Rocksmith "Explicit" beanie today. The beanie has the streets going nuts. You may have seen Lil' Wayne rocking it in his new video "On Fire" as well as the homey Young De rocking the beanie in the new Cypress Hill video for "It Ain't Nothing." We were lucky enough to supply both Tradition locations, dont sleep on these because we won't have stock for long.
Cypress Hill are back with a brand new track from their upcoming album, Rise Up, called "It Ain't Nothing". This track features Young De on the hook, and it is a certified banger! Look for their upcoming album on the revamped Priority Records in April... Cypress recently shot a video for this track that should be dropping soon as well.
Xzibit was recently on tour in Europe, backed by the homey Young De. Check out this live video of Xzibit from December 19th... Young De performs "Figure It Out" at the 3:55 mark.

RECAP: TRADITION X BLOODBATH "MIGHTY IS THE PEN" RELEASE PARTY
Saturday was the official release party for the Tradition X Bloodbath "Mighty is the Pen" collaboration tee... Of course we had to do it real big, and we had performances from Young De, El Prez, Chris Foucus, Dnez, Lil' Meezy, and Astro. There was also artwork on display by L.A. graffiti legends, Mear and Yem. Tradition was packed, and everyone in attendance had a great time! I want to thank everyone that made it out, and everyone that helped make this event a success. We still have some shirts available at our Westlake and Ventura stores, and limited quantities available on our webstore.

A few weeks ago I went to a party at On The Rox for the Salam Wreck's birthday. Alot of West Coast legends were there to celebrate including DJ Muggs, B-Real, Kurupt, Rass Kass, Roscoe, Cynic, and more. Kurupt and Roscoe ran through a small library of West Coast classics, and the night ended with a freestyle from Roscoe, Young De, And Kurupt.
Here's a new track from Young De called "Women Vs. Hoes." De has been busy touring around the world with Xzibit and B-Real, but has been steadily stacking new tracks for his upcoming album... This track is just a small taste of what's to come!

Here it is, the brand new world premier of Young De & Xzibit's "Figure it Out." This track is the second single from the Soul Assassins Intermission album, and it it definitely one of my favorite tracks of the summer. A few days ago we previewed a behind the scenes look into the making of the video, and today we have the the brand new video directed by Matt Alonzo. NOt only do I think that this is Matt's best video, this is one of my favorite videos of the year! Shouts out to the homeys for repping Tradition hard!
The Soul Assassins Intermission album drops on Tuesday, and along with it comes the brand new single "Figure It Out" featuring Xzibit, Young De, and Mykestro. Those of you that went to the last event we did with Soul Assassins heard a preview of this song during Young De's set... The track is straight fire, with production handled by DJ Muggs. Once again, Director Matt Alonzo, turns out another amazing video... I've seen the completed video a few times, and trust me... It is one of the best videos of the year! I'm looking forward to hearing this track as well as the rest of the Intermission album at the official listening party this Sunday at Tradition.

Butch Cassidy has been gearing up to release his upcoming album First & Last for sometime now. For those who are not familiar, Butch Cassidy is Nate Dogg's cousin, and his signature gangsta style has appeared on such hits as “Lay Low” with Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre and “Connected 4 Life” with Ice Cube, among many others. Check out Butch's newest track "Let's Ride" featuring Damizza and Young De. "Let's Ride" is a straight West Coast anthem, and was produced by Mel-Man who co-produced Dre's Chronic 2001.

I know that I have been talking about it for a while, and it's finally here. Shady Records presents "Homeland Security" the mixtape. Homeland Security features Young De and Shady Record's own Ca$his. You all saw Young De rock the stage at the Akomplice Season 9 release party at Tradition last week, so you know that he a spitter! Homeland Security features appearances from Eminem, Freeway, Kurupt, Crooked I, Royce The 59, and Hot Dolla. It also features production from Apathy, Los, Damizza, and Rikanatti. I(Worldwardrew/Drew What It Do) produced a track called "What you Smokin?" on there as well. You can download Homeland Security here.
The homey Young De was featured on DJ Mugg's Mash Up Radio last week on Shade 45. After an interview, De dropped a crazy freestyle off the top of the dome. Of course he is reppin' Tradition to the fullest!
Yesterday I went down to the studio to do some work with Young De. I'm producing a few tracks for his upcoming mixtape with Ca$his (Shady/Aftermath). For those who haven't heard of Young De, he is about to take the rap world by storm. He moved to Cali from Philly a few years ago and hooked up with Kurupt. In 2007 he released "Kurupt presents: Tangled Thoughts Philly 2 Cali" featuring guest spots from Freeway, Gillie Da Kid, Roscoe, Ab Liva, Sen Dog of Cypress Hill & Mellow Man Ace (Reyes Bros.), Gail Gotti, AK and more. Since then he hooked up with B-Real of Cypress Hill, and he just released DJ Skee and B-Real present: "Young De Audio Hustlaz Vol. 1 hosted by Kurupt which you can download for free from Young De's Myspace.
