Get Busy Committee dropped their brand new video, just in time for Valentine's Day called "I Don't Care About You". The video was directed by Matt Lenski and inspired by the greatest page on the Internet.
While Valentine's Day may be a day to celebrate love, it's also a great day to reflect on those we once loved and are glad to be free of. "I Don't Care About You" is a bad relationship anthem. Take a moment, give thanks, and enjoy
GBC'S album, Uzi Does it, was one of my favorite releases last year. Apathy, Scoop DeVille and Ryu created something new and fun that definitely stood out from everything else that was released. GBC are putting together new EP called Uzi Did It. Here's the first leak produced by Da Beatminerz called "Left Behind." I played a little guitar part at the 1:21 mark!
DUBCNN recently sat down with Ryu, Apathy, and Scoop DeVille of Get Busy Committee to talk about their new project, their creative packaging design, and navigating the business aspect of music. You can read the whole interview here.
Dubcnn: What’s up guys. There’s three of you. Scoop DeVille, Ryu and Apathy.First off tell us about you guys coming together and how you decided to do this project. I know you guys have other stuff going on so this is a project you had to decide you were gonna do.
Apathy: First of all we’re like best friends, we’re like brothers. Stay at his crib 6 months out of the year, Scoop’s like our younger brother and it was just a natural thing that we work together anyway. We all like the same type of music.
Ryu: Pretty got sick of the situations we were in, doing the same type of music. Locked ourselves in the studio for a couple months and did the first thing that came to mind. Anything with no boundaries whatsoever and did the most off the wall shit we could possibly think of. The result is Uzi Does It.
Dubcnn: So tell us about the sound. A lot of people describe it as underground hip-hop. Where’d you guys come from with the sound.
Apathy: We’ve all done underground hardcore hip-hop for so long that it just got to be exhausting and we wanted to do something completely new and have fun with the music again. We weren’t having fun with the music, we were just doing the same shit over and over again. And our musical tastes are so vast and we just wanted to have fun with music and o something crazy.
Ryu: We just wanted to have fun with this record. We’ve been trapped in situations so long where we couldn’t have fun and we felt like we were handcuffed. This one was no holds barred, anything we felt like no subject matter was off limits so we just did what we wanted.

MIXTAPE: CHACE INFINITIE - I WOULD HAVE KILLED THIS
Chace Infinite is back with a brand new mixtape called I Would Have Killed This. This mixtape features Chace over 10 DJ Khalil beats. Look for a track from Chace on the upcoming Tradition mixtape! You can download I Would Have Killed Thishere.
Most Self Scientific fans know that a number of the songs that DJ Khalil does with other artists were originally songs or ideas intended for Self Scientific. Cashmere Agency and Prohibit NYC Present I Would Have Killed This is a full mixtape by Self Scientific’s frontman Chace Infinite and finds him going in over some of the more well-known beats that his partner, DJ Khalil, produced for other artists. The first joint leaked was over the popular “Kinda Like A Big Deal” track that featured The Clipse and Kanye West. Next, Chace attacked “I Still Kill,” the beat Khalil produced for 50 Cent and Akon. In classic Self Scientific fashion, Chace changes the subject matter to instead discuss life and his attempts to understand his own journey. Be sure to download the entire mixtape to hear the Chace Infinite put his own spin on 10 Khalil beats that were snatched up by other artists. The mixtape also contains a bonus of three original Self Scientific songs.
Last week we dropped a track from the Newly formed Get Busy Committee called "Come Talk to Me." This week GBC is back with a new track called "No Time to Speak." I wonder if those two titles were intentional? For those who don't know, the Get Busy Committee is Apathy (Demigodz), Ryu (Fort Minor, Style of Beyond), and Scoop Deville. this track was produced by Apathy.
