Here's another leak from Cypress Hill's upcoming album, Rise Up. This Jim Jonsin produced track is called "Armada Latina", and features Pitbull and Marc Anthony. It's nice to hear something totally different from Cypress.

MIXTAPE: BOBO MEETS RHETTMATIC

Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill fame teams up with The Beat Junkies' DJ Rhettmatic for this dope mixtape, Bobo Meets Rhettmatic. Eric Bobo is the son of Latin jazz musician Willie Bobo, and has play percussion and drums for Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, The Black Crowes, 311, Gnarls Barkley, Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Soulfly, and more.
DJ Rhettmatic is a member of the Beat Junkies DJ crew. Rhettmatic began his DJ career in 1983 with the DJ group Double Platinum. In 1996, Rhettmatic claimed the title of DMC (Disco Mix Club) West Coast Champion.

VIDEO: CYPRESS HILL SMOKEOUT 2009 WRAP UP

Cypress Hill brought back their Smokeout festival this year with a strong lineup of hip hop and rock acts. Over 30,000 people made it out to the two day fest which featured performances from Cypress Hill, Goodie Mob, Method Man and Redman, Psycho Realm, as well as rock acts such as Bad Brains, Sublime, Pennywise, Slipknot, and Deftones.

CYPRESS HILL LIVE AT 4:20

420 is a big day for all you weed heads out there, and you know you can't celebrate properly with out a little dose of that Dr. Greenthumb from the fathers of Kush Rap, Cypress Hill. To help kick of 420 right, Cypress Hill is playing 2 sold out shows tonight with Psycho Realm at the Filmore in San Francisco. Soul Assassins are going to host a live feed at the event (starting at 3:30, with Cypress hitting the stage at 4:20) which you can watch here.

AT THE TEMPLE WITH CYPRESS HILL

Last week I brought Patrick and Mike from Akomplice down to B-Real's studio AKA "The Temple" to see Cypress Hill hard at work on their upcoming album. These guys have been busy as hell, recording over 30 songs for for the Cypress album, while simultaneously putting the finishing touches on B-Real's solo album "Smoke and Mirrors", that is due out in February on Duck Down. Sen Dog recently released his first solo album as well called "Diary of a Mad Dog." I produced a track on that called "Biggy Bang" which you can hear on my Myspace page. Also shown in the photos is the homey Young De. De just released his "Homeland Security" mixtape with Ca$his and DJ Whoo Kid, and has been in the lab writing some verses for the Detox!
