The Ferrari 599 Hybrid which the automaker has confirmed will appear in Switzerland next week. The shots appear to have been taken from the show stand, so there's no hard information to go off of yet. What we do know is that Ferrari will employ a version of its Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS). Whoever thought they would make a Hybrid Ferrari.
Check out this new promotional video for Black Scale that was shot by Retro Tv. Black Scale is quickly becoming the unsung hero of street wear culture. Commanding absolute respect on both the ground level and throughout the international fashion market, it’s gone from good idea to San Francisco flagship in only a little over a year. But unconditional admiration and global acclaim is never a simple coincidence, it takes hardwork, great marketing, and drive to really stand out in the streetwear market.
Add Gatorade to the list of endorsement deals that Tiger Woods has lost. A representative for the drink confirmed today that it had ended its relationship with the golfer, who made a lengthy public apology last week for his infidelities. "We no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship," a Gatorade spokeswoman said. "We wish him all the best."
Tag Heuer, Accenture, Gillette, AT&T and Gatorade have suspended or cut ties with Tiger Woods, leaving the world's No. 1 golfer with the support of seven official sponsors:

The Memphis Grizzlies are sending No. 2 overall pick Hasheem Thabeet down for a stint in the D-League, the team announced on today. Thabeet is the highest draft pick ever sent to the D-League by an NBA team. Players can only be assigned to D-League duty by their NBA teams during their first two seasons as a pro. Thabeet's assignment to the Wizards, Memphis' North Dakota-based affiliate was first reported by the Web site RidiculousUpside.com, which covers the D-League extensively.
Although the Grizzlies acknowledged that Thabeet was a long-term project when they selected him with the No. 2 pick in June over the likes of local collegiate star Tyreke Evans, Memphis was hoping that the 7-foot-3 center could survive as a backup in his first NBA season. But Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins announced earlier this week that second-year center Hamed Haddadi of Iran would begin receiving Thabeet's minutes behind starting center Marc Gasol.
The Grizzlies, according to NBA front-office sources, offered Thabeet and second-year guard O.J. Mayo to the Golden State Warriors for Warriors guard Monta Ellis before the Feb. 18 trade deadline but were turned down.
Tradition is proud to present: Asylm | Ruets Sources of Inspiration and Damnation February 27 2010
Asylm His work depicts a harmonious coexistence of nature and the urban landscape. He combines his humming bird icons, beautiful muses, Mesoamerican iconography, along with wild style depiction of words and letters over an abstract background with that of his urban graffiti palette (since 1989), so to think he is merely painting pictures, would be a mistake. He is creating spiritual trances. www.asylm.com
Ruets Known for his linear formation and contemporary letter structure, Los Angeles based artist Tommy Ruets earned himself a nationwide following due to his stylistically innovative approach. Just four and a half months after being released from prison and subsequently deported, 7 News Belize reports that Shyne has inked a multi-million dollar recording contract, bringing his Gangland Records imprint to Def Jam. Antonio “L.A.” Reid, CEO and Chairman of Island Def Jam Music Group, flew down to Belize personally to seal the monumental deal.
“I have come here to stand by Shyne and to officially kick off our partnership with Island Def Jam Music Group and Gangland Records,” Reid told reporters present at the signing at Shyne’s penthouse in Belize. “I am here because great people are worthy of traveling many many miles for it and I come here to say that your country is great and I hope you guys know that this is a great man from your country who deserves this kid of respect and who deserves this kind of support.”
The story that’s often told about the beat is that Jay overheard Kid Capri play it and immediately wanted it for his album. But here, Jay-Z sits down with SVT (Swedish television) and chronicles hit songs. This segment focusing on Jay-Z’s “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem.) It also tells the story of the song’s producer, The 45 King, who also has DJ Kool’s “Let Me Clear My Throat” and Eminem’s “Stan” to his credit.
2011 Bentley Mulsanne is rolling closer to the showroom. Bentley Motors has revealed model details and production plans for this successor to the vaunted Arnage sedan, as well as a price. The first Mulsanne is expected to roll down the assembly line this spring, and by the fall the car will begin arriving in American showrooms. The price: a cool $285,000, but for that sum, buyers will take possession of a stunningly advanced, outrageously sumptuous package.
Beneath the Mulsanne’s vast hood resides a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine producing 505 horsepower and a titanic 752 foot-pounds of torque at only 1,800 rpm. Perhaps no vehicle on the planet offers the Mulsanne’s degree of personalization. To wit, buyers can choose from among 114 colors of paint, a palette that includes special Bentley “heritage colors,” satin and pearlescent finishes, and a selection of two-tone combinations. Equally dazzling, the interior (which requires 170 worker hours to craft) offers 24 colors of hide, nine wood veneers, and 21 colors of carpeting, with a 20-speaker, 2,200-watt Naim audio system (the most powerful ever fitted to a production vehicle) providing the soundtrack.

More Than A Witness resurrected this classic Bad Brains interview from Maximum Rock & Roll Radio conducted by the magazine’s founder, Tim Yohannon. You can download the interview here.
"This interview was captured soon after the Bad Brains migrated to Manhattan from their home base of Washington DC. 1982 also saw the first Bad Brains nationwide tour. The infamous encounter with Randy “Biscuit” Turner of the Big Boys occurred briefly before this interview took place. This incident has been written about extensively in a variety of publications such as American Hardcore. The synopsis of the story is that the Bad Brains stopped in Austin, Texas to play with the Big Boys and the Dicks. Immersed in Rastafarian ideology, the Brains took strong offense to the homosexual lifestyle of the Big Boys vocalist and they sure let him know it by defacing his property and leaving him a note that denounced homosexuality. They continued on their tour with a bag of stolen weed and with a new wing of detractors in Texas. This incident began to follow them as they hit subsequent cities on their ’82 tour."

During the eight hour procedure, Wayne had his grill worked on, several tooth implants redone, more implants added and had the few real teeth he had left repaired. The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired the Clippers' Marcus Camby, the center they've desperately needed since they lost both Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla to season-ending injuries. In return, Los Angeles receives point guard Steve Blake and small forward Travis Outlaw.Portland will also send $1.5 million to Los Angeles in the trade and is responsible for $2 million in incentives Camby will earn before season's end, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher today. VIDEO: SPRITE SLAM DUNK SHOWDOWN BETTER THAN ALL-STAR DUNK CONTEST
Here's so footage of the Sprite Showdown Dunk Contest this weekend. I'm sad to say that this was a 100 times better than the All-Star Slam Dunk Contest. I'm sure everyone that saw it was as disappointed as I was. I think the dunkers should tell someone what they plan on doing so they aren't selected if they are going to do wack dunks. Anyhow these And 1 guys and no names did some incredible dunks!
I didn't get a chance to post these yesterday so better late than never, can't wait for Jersey Shore Season 2. Oh yea, if you forgot to give your loved one a card, then hurry up and print one of these.
Sunday's NBA All-Star Game drew a crowd of 108,713 fans at Cowboys Stadium to set a new basketball record. That figure was announced by Mavericks owner Mark Cuban at midcourt. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Cuban knew they'd shatter the world record for attendance at a basketball game when they partnered up to bring the All-Star Game to the new $1.2 billion stadium. They set their sights on six figures. NBA officials expressed doubts, which is why Jones and Cuban were giddy with the official number. The previous record crowd for a basketball game was 78,129, set when Michigan State played Kentucky at Detroit's Ford Field on Dec. 13, 2003.

Here's another leak called Burgertime from El Prez's upcoming release Animal Style due out February 15th!
"This is my first true solo project since '08 so I held nothing back and brought the best out of myself to give the people an amazing project and look into the FCC/ "Tree House" lifestyle in Los Angeles, circa 2010. "Animal Style!" derived from a hamburger chain that originated in SoCal called In-N-Out, and refers to a special way they prepare the burger and fries that only the locals and savvy customers even knew existed, on a "secret" menu. Being the hamburger aficionado I am (lol), I felt my music and this "food for thought" I was cooking up on this project was made by the city of angels and its inhabitants, and should only be available to them and the people who truly wanted to enjoy my product. For the fans who would scratch, claw, ditch school/work, just to get their hands on some El Prez music, "Animal Style" was made for them. "
Freddie Gibbs stopped by Thisis50 and premiered a new track called "This is Freddie" over a DJ Premier production. You can download the track as well here. The ankle injury that has sidelined Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant for the last three games will knock him out of Sunday's All-Star Game as well. The NBA has lined up Jason Kidd of the hometown Dallas Mavericks to replace the ailing Bryant, sources told ESPN.com. ESPN.com has also learned Allen Iverson won't participate (personal matters) and will be replaced by New York's David Lee. Bryant has played through back, finger and groin ailments this season but has not been able to shake an ankle problem that forced him to miss a game through injury for the first time since late in the 2005-06 season.
My homey Brandon of Eazeest posted this so I had to re-post it. I guess they only showed this episode in the UK, why it wasn't shown in the US with all of the N.E.R.D fans is weird but here it is so enjoy.

"In our lives, there are times, where what we want to say are just hard to say. Mostly, we find those times when we are deeply in love and fear that are sentiments are not shared, sometimes it is much easier to put it on paper! Soldiers overseas, their spouses, in many cases, can only communicate via letter and with love there are never enough words to say how you truly feel, but to say something better than saying nothing. In “Mr. Postman” Rai Knight and Oseeola take the opportunity to thank whatever medium which allows itself to be the carrier of “I Love You”; Facebook, Twitter, or mail. The story is simple, sometimes we just all need to know how much we are cared for. Simply, just say it!!"

ASYLM & RUETS - SOURCES OF INSPIRATION AND DAMNATION
Pushing the boundaries of traditional graffiti, Ruets continues to up the ante combining a distinct configuration of line and proportion into something undeniably original. Equally visually stimulating are his hundreds works on paper and wood, Comprised of bold flat color and fine-line work.
As promised, the guys from ItsTheReal are back. Watch, laugh, tell your friends. Peep The Hundreds hoodie that the guy is wearing around the 1:53 mark. - Richard
I posted this interesting documentary on my blog and have been getting a lot of feedback on it so I'm deciding to share it here too. This guy makes a documentary about homelessness in Vancouver and goes above and beyond anything I expected going into watching this. I always seen Vancouver as nice city but this guy really shows everyone the other side. He partakes in a month long mission of trying to survive as a homeless person and video records everything. Here's the description he gives him self via youtube:
An unprecedented look into the underworld of Vancouver's downtown eastside ghetto, this 65 minute documentary follows one man's 30 day experiment of joining the thousands of homeless, ill, and addicted, who survive the streets of Vancouver's cold, wet December. He starts off with nothing but a pair of underwear. Where he ends up is a place he never knew existed, even though its a place he passed by every day. This is the perfect film for anyone who wants to see first hand what life is like on Vancouver's streets, but doesn't want to risk murder from gang violence, contracting a fatal or chronic disease, or a life-long addiction to crack or heroin.

So over on my little ol' blog, I started this "Bumpin In The Shop" thing where I post up the mixtape in rotation for the day down here at the Ventura shop. Bumpin in the shop today is L.E's Anti-Parachute Theory. While I was driving through the city, "Polo On My Body" came on my iPod while it was on shuffle. So posting up the mixtape was just a good idea. I remember listening to it earlier when I was studying in the library thinking to myself that this is some dope stuff. He got Von Pea, who was featured on the first edition of B.I.T.S., to help him on "She/Her", which is another highlight on the tape. The whole thing is a great piece of work featuring production by J. Rawls, DJ Rhettmatic, Blueprint and more, plus it's free so why not check the kid out. Click the album cover or here to download.
Here's a little snippet of Lil' Wayne and Birdman's verses on "Maybach Music 3." This joint is dope, who knows how many Maybach Music's they can do but as long as they are all sounding dope then I guess keeping dropping new ones! Check it out here.

The Los Angeles Clippers have made a coaching change with just 32 games left in the season, naming Kim Hughes as their new interim coach today after Mike Dunleavy relinquished his bench duties. Dunleavy will retain the title of Clippers general manager in what the team has described as a decision that was "reached mutually" earlier today during a meeting attended by club president Andy Roeser, Dunleavy and assistant general manager Neil Olshey. Although Dunleavy has been under pressure at various points during the past few months despite the season-long absence of No. 1 overall pick Blake Griffin (ESPN.com reported in November that Clippers owner Donald Sterling contemplated making a change after an 0-4 start) one source close to the situation insisted that it was Dunleavy's "decision to step down."
Said Dunleavy in a team statement: "I've had several conversations with our owner [Donald T. Sterling] concerning what we think is best for the team overall. We have discussed the possibility of my concentrating only on basketball operations. That option has always been available to me. "I've come to the conclusion that this is the ideal time for me to direct my efforts toward the many personnel opportunities that lie before us, such as the trade market, the draft and the free-agent process. We fully expect to be active and productive on all those fronts."
It has been widely assumed in NBA coaching circles that Dunleavy, given Sterling's famed aversion to paying coaches who no longer work for the Clippers, was virtually insulated from being fired because his contract has one more season to go after this season at $5 million.

Hornets All-Star point guard Chris Paul is out indefinitely with a left knee injury. Hornets coach Jeff Bower said on Monday that an MRI revealed more damage to the knee than the initial diagnosis of a bruise. The coach refused, however, to confirm reports that Paul had a meniscus tear and would miss at least a month. Sources close to the situation confirmed to ESPN.com on Sunday that Paul tore cartilage in his left knee and will be forced to undergo arthroscopic surgery. Paul first hurt his left knee in a game at Golden State on Wednesday. He struck the same spot against a camera when he went out of bounds near the end of regulation against the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.
"We're in fact-finding stages right now, gathering as much information as possible for decisions to be made to take the next steps," Bower said. "It is likely there will be a surgical solution for it. We don't have a timetable [for Paul's return] right now, nor do we know a surgical procedure right now."
